A Spring Fashion Haul

After my Spring Topshop wishlist, I decided that I would treat myself to a couple of things! First up, I finally bought a bomber jacket! Instead of going for the Topshop one I found a very similar Zara one for almost half the price at £30. It's made of a different material and it is slightly thinner, but this will probably be better for the warmer weather.

Of course, I couldn't go shopping and not pick up something from the Ivy Park range! I bought the white logo t-shirt and I think I'll be buying the pink crew neck sweatshirt as well. I'm really impressed with the quality when it was only £16 - the t-shirt is so soft and slouchy!

Next, I picked up a basic grey t-shirt from H&M. I've been after the perfect plain t-shirt for quite a while now and this one is it! It's only £8 so I'll definitely be picking up a few more. I also finally bought the Illustrated People 'You're Basic Bye' t-shirt. I've been after this t-shirt for a few months now and as soon as I saw it on the Topshop website I knew I had to have it. It's slightly more expensive at £23 but it was definitely worth it!

A Boxing Day Sales Haul

Blazer // Top // Boots

I'm not really a huge fan of the Boxing Day sales. I find them quite overwhelming and I usually can't get anything I want, but this year I managed to pick up a few pieces that I've had my eye on for a few months.

My first stop of any sales is always Topshop. I bought this grey blazer which I've been wanting since September (£25 down from £46). Although this blazer is just a bit too light to be wearing right now, it will be perfect for when the weather starts to get a bit warmer.

I then found the flower camouflage print top. I had always put off purchasing this due to the price tag (£36) but when I saw it was just £18 in the sale I couldn't resist! I think this will look good paired with black Joni jeans and black heeled boots.

The last item I bought in Topshop was the rose gold necklace which was only £2.50. I love delicate jewellery so I always try to pick up a few pieces in Topshop when their sale starts.

Finally, I popped into M&S and found that these snakeprint boots that I've wanted for months were half price (£25 down from £50). These were a complete impulse buy but I really love them and they'll add something different to my wardrobe.

A Mini Winter ASOS Haul

I thought I'd show you a few pieces I got delivered from ASOS a few weeks ago! I had some birthday money left over and decided to treat my self - I live by this phrase far too much...

I decided to finally pick up a suede biker jacket from Vero Moda. I've been after a jacket like this for a while and I honestly expected to be sending it back but I love it! Although the fur lining isn't too soft, the suede makes up for it - it's so smooth and I know it'll be perfect for really cold, Winter days.

I also picked up a new scarf which had been on my saved items for far too long. I think this will look really nice paired with my grey coat from Primark. It's really soft and cosy which is perfect for this awful weather!

Finally I bought a new Christmas phonecase. I'm really impressed with the quality of it considering it was only £8 and it's not too festive so I can probably get away with using it all year round.

What I Got For My Birthday

Today I thought I'd show a few things that I got for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I was absolutely spoiled by my friends and family and I couldn't be more grateful! I got the usual selection of clothes, shoes, chocolate and Disney things! I finally got the Chloe Drew dupe from Topshop and I'm in love - perfect size for everyday use. My mum got me Disgust and a Captain American tsum tsum - she knows me so well!

I love reading these kind of posts so please leave a link below if you've done one!

New In: River Island, ASOS & Primark

Thanks to student loans I was back to treating myself in September to I thought I'd share a few of my favourites that I picked up.

Taking advantage of a River Island discount, I picked up a burgundy bobble hat for Winter. Although it's not quite cold enough yet I've already been wearing this constantly. I love wearing burgundy in the winter and it goes perfectly with my new camel coat that I got from Primark!

Next up are my first pair of winter books for this season - the chelsea boots from ASOS. I've had my eye on these for ages and quickly snapped them up with I got my loan. I love everything about these boots and they have the perfect heel for everyday wear. Lastly, I also picked up this Adolescent Clothing tee on ASOS. I love a good slogan tee and the quality of this one is so good - perfect for chilled days!

Home Haul: Tiger, IKEA, Primark, H&M & Homebase

When I finally got my student loan I decided to pick up a few bits and pieces for my room. In Tiger I picked up a marble clipboard, marble notebook, metal wire box and a cute mug. I love how the marble and the wire box look on my desk, along with my new artificial plant from IKEA!

In Primark, I picked up heart shaped coasters, the copper ampersand and the star light that everyone seems to have. I wasn't sure about it at first but it looks really nice when it's lit and makes my room feel really cosy! I also picked up another lamp - the copper one from Homebase. Again, everyone seems to have this, but I just couldn't resist.

I then made my first ever H&M home order and got a copper basket, a bookend and a little copper box to keep my rings in!

An August Primark Haul

Although it's now September, I spent a lot of my August in Primark. They've started bringing in their A/W ranges and I ended up buying quite a few things! I'm obsessed with A/W fashion - I love the darker shades and piling up the layers to keep warm!

To embrace the 70's trend I picked up a tan suede skirt for just £10! I actually posted about how I'm styling it if you're interested. I also bought a berry cord pinafore at £13. I've wanted a new pinafore for a while now but wasn't sure what to go for - when I saw this one for so cheap I knew I had to have it! I actually spotted a very similar one in Topshop for £39 so I'd definitely pick up the Primark one if you're wanting one.

I then saw a tan/camel coloured jumper which I just had to have - I'm really loving camel/tan shades right now so I'm sure I'd pick up anything! Again this was around the £12 mark and features a white blouse collar underneath. Perfect for a cool Autumn day! And I couldn't leave Primark without picking up a new striped top (only £7).

I also picked up two new coats as well which aren't shown here. I got this black parka coat for travelling to uni when it's really horrible outside. I also got a camel (again!) coat similar to this style. Both coats were £25.

Have you picked up anything from Primark recently? I'd love to see your hauls!

A Small Boots Haul

It's been a while since I've had a proper look in Boots for some skincare products so when I was in the other day I decided to take advantage of my points and pick up a few things. I picked up the L'Oreal Micellar Water, which was on offer at £3.50, as mine had ran out. I also got some Boots own brand facial pore strips which were £4 - I usually buy the Superdrug ones but since I was using my points I decided to just get them in Boots. Finally, I bought some Witch products - a blemish stick (on offer at £1.80), which I constantly buy, and an overnight serum (£3.99 on offer), which helps reduce spots and redness.

Have you used any of these products? What did you think?

A Book Haul

After being on a self-imposed book buying ban for the past few months (purely because I had so many on my shelves that I hadn't read!), I've managed to buy 8 books in the last 2 weeks.

I ordered Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald and Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins on Amazon. Percy Jackson and The Great Gatsby only cost £5.50 all together so I didn't feel too bad about buying these three, especially as I'd just been paid! I don't know why it's taken me so long to start the Percy Jackson series but I'm really enjoying it so far.

I then bought Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton in Tesco for £4. I've wanted to read this for ages so I couldn't resist when it was so cheap. I haven't seen any of the films yet so I'm excited to get into it.

It's a tradition for me to buy a couple of new books when I'm on holiday so I picked up The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett (£6.99) from a new bookshop in St. Andrews called Topping and Company. I then bought Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins (£6.99) from Waterstones, which I can't wait to read since it's the last in the series!

Finally, I popped into Tesco when I got back from my weekend away and got a few books in their 2 for £7 offer. I got Landline by Rainbow Rowell, which will be my 3rd book of hers. I also picked up Sparkling Stilettos by Jess Wright of TOWIE fame - don't judge, it sounds like a really good chick flick!

Have you read any of these books? What did you think?

A Holiday Haul

When I was on holiday in St. Andrews, I definitely took advantage of having H&M and Paperchase so close to my aunt's house - I think I went in every day! Sadly H&M didn't have a home department but I did pick up a few things. I thought the cactus print make-up bag would be great to use as a pencil case for university and it was a complete steal at only £2. I also picked up a novelty cactus rubber (£2), purely because I thought it would look cute on my desk! My mum then spotted a mini lint roller (£1) which is perfect for popping in my bag to get rid of any dog hairs.

When I was in Paperchase I spotted a 4-pack of lunch tubs, all with different unicorn themed prints. The ones I use for university were getting a bit old and battered so I picked these up for just £8 - a bargain considering Cath Kidston charge the same price for two! Of course, I couldn't go to Paperchase and not buy any postcards - I picked up 4 different ones at 60p each. I also picked up a new pen (reduced to 75p) for university and a new milkshake keyring (£2.75).

After I was home from my holiday, I popped into Wilko with my mum and spotted a pack of Hello Kitty highlighters (£2.25). I already have far too many but I couldn't leave them behind, especially when my mum offered to buy them for me! We also went to Primark for a browse and discovered that they'd recently got in some stationary so I bought this wooden Mickey Mouse & Friends ruler (£1.50) - I'm already wishing I picked up a nice pencil case as well!
