Ways To Wear: The Aviator Jacket

The aviator jacket has made quite the resurgence in recent months and today I'm going to show you two different ways to wear this latest trend.

LOOK ONE
Jacket // Jumper // Jeans // Bag // Hat // Trainers

This first look is a more casual look - perfect for every day wear. This is the type of outfit that I'd definitely wear to university. Super cosy for dark winter mornings and comfortable enough to sit through a day of lectures before running for the train home!

LOOK TWO
Jacket // Top // Skirt // Boots // Bag // Hat

The second outfit is still quite casual but is definitely a more sophisticated look. I'd wear an outfit like this on the weekend, to go out for lunch or dinner!

Ways To Wear: The Wool Coat

Today I'm showing you how I would style this grey wool coat from Primark. I have a similar coat to this in a camel shade (also from Primark) but I'm seriously considering picking up the grey one after doing this post!

LOOK ONE
This look definitely has a more relaxed feel to it. I'd pair the coat with a cute t-shirt, like this lovely french bulldog one, and some light blue denim jeans. I'd accessorise it with some nice round sunglasses, a fluffy bag and a pair of Vans!

 LOOK TWO
This look is the perfect Winter office outfit for me! I love the chunky knit jumper and the boucle skirt combination - how cute is the lace detail? No mini skirt look is complete without a pair of patent loafers these days and a nice big shopper bag!

Ways To Wear: The Cord Pinafore

I'm fully embracing a 70s trend now and I've already picked up a few pieces for A/W, including a cord pinafore. The one above is from Topshop but I actually picked up a very similar one from Primark for a fraction of the price - talk about a bargain! Primark is my go-to place for A/W prep right now so I encourage you all to take a look!

I've thought a lot about how I'll style my cord pinafore for Autumn and this is what I came up with - a breton top (always one of my picks!) and a pair of flat pom-pom shoes. A simple look perfect for cool Autumn days. I'd finish it off my my fedora, some jewellery, a black croc style bag and my sunglasses.

Ways To Wear: The Sleeveless Coat (Featuring Kendall Jenner)

Another trend I'm loving at the moment is sleeveless coats. I love that they're so versatile and easy to style! Here are two different ways that I style my sleeveless coat from Topshop:

LOOK ONE

My first look is definitely for the slightly warmer weather and can be a casual daytime look. I love pairing my coat with a nice shirt - preferably a crisp white one, or a patterned one - and light denim ripped jeans. I then finish the look off with a pair of sunglasses, a chunky handbag, and a pair of skater shoes.

LOOK TWO

This second look is how I plan to wear my coat in the colder months to come, with a little inspiration from Kendall Jenner. The coat is quite thick and would definitely keep me warm when paired with a wooly jumper! I'd finish the look with leather-look trousers, chelsea boots, and my trusty fedora.

Ways To Wear: The Tan Suede Skirt

Suede skirts have taken the fashion world by storm recently, everywhere you look there are people being inspired by the 70's trend - even Alexa Chung and Olivia Palermo have picked one up! And let's be honest, if they're wearing it, it must be on trend.

I'd been looking for a tan suede skirt for quite a while and I finally picked up in Primark for only £10, a complete bargain! So today I thought I'd show you all a couple of ways to wear it.

LOOK ONE

Look one is how I'm wearing my suede skirt right now for the Summer months. The tan colour goes perfectly with a light blue denim skirt and I think the whole outfit looks really cute with a pair of loafers!

LOOK TWO

Look two is definitely more of an Autumn styling for me. I can't wait until I can wear mine with my chelsea boots and cute black roll neck or a thick, breton top to keep me warm in the cooler weather! It's the perfect look for those cold, crisp, Autumn days - and very comfortable for travelling to university every day.

Have you joined in on the trend? How are you wearing your suede skirt?
